However, Denise Mercedes, a plus-size model, has proved that her size 14 is no problem. She and her friend Maria Castellanos has launched a TikTok challenge titled "Style Not Size." With different body types, the two friends put on the same clothes, share their pictures and videos with the online community, and demonstrate that beauty comes in all shapes and forms. Their videos have now been liked a whopping 30.6M times, and her Instagram account attracted about 1.5M followers.
"She inspired me and I gained confidence in myself, and it then became about inspiring others around us, too,” said the petite size 2 Maria about her friend.
