Incredible Moment! Orangutan Mom Giving Birth To Her First Baby Captured Live On Camera

Giving birth is one of the most magical, memorable moments of a mom's life. Nothing is comparable to the joy of welcoming a living creature into the world, and this isn’t only true for humans, but moms from the animal kingdom as well.

The never-seen-before footage of the "miracle birth" of a Sumatran orangutan was captured on cameras at the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. According to the staff at the conservation, Sumatran orangutan gives birth to her first ever baby. At first, they believed this new mom was infertile, but they were wrong. She surprised them all with her newborn.

As you can see in the video, the mom sucks the baby’s sac before she gives it a sweet hug. When the little baby is all clean, she takes it in her arms and shows it to her caretakers. What a magical moment!
