Little Sweet Boy Leaves Notes For His Foster Dog’s New Family, Saying She’s The Best Dog Ever
Roman, a six-year-old boy, was very happy to have Maggie(the dog in the story) as a friend. He trained Maggie everything in unconditional love and built a very strong bond with her. On the day Maggie had to move to her forever home, he sneaked some handwriting notes that almost touched everyone’s hearts.
Maggie was placed in the Ducan family as a foster home by the staff of North Shore Animal League(NSAL). Because she was very little and not able to put up for adoption, she would stay at the Ducan family until the NSAL finds her a new forever home. In the foster home, Maggie met her first lovely friend, Roman. They became close right away.
Many days have gone by, NSAL contacted and informed the Ducan family that they have found a new home for Maggie.
It’s hard for Roman to say goodbye to his furry friend. He wanted Maggie’s new family to know how adorable Maggie is, so he left some sweet notes to them. When the managers at NSAL saw the letter, they were touched. They did get a lot of letters from adults but not so many from children.

Maggie was taught to do everything patiently by Roman. She was trained to use potty and learned how to play fetch. She also enjoyed the walks to the park. The bond between them was so close that Ronam’s mom and dad had to remind him that the appearance of Maggie is just temporary. They don’t want Roman to be upset when Maggie has to leave. Many days have gone by, NSAL contacted and informed the Ducan family that they have found a new home for Maggie.
