A Disney Animator Draws Pictures Of His Life Without His Wife, And His Story Will Make You Cry

Gary Andrews, a former Disney illustrator, accomplishes a journal of every detail of his life. On his 54th birthday, he began doing it. Instead of writing, he created drawings and scenarios of himself, his children, and his lovely wife, Joy.
But Gary had no idea that his life was about to change drastically! He was in Canada on business, and his wife became very ill, which they mistook for a bad case of the flu. However, they later discovered she had a serious illness, so Gary quickly boarded a plane to return to the United Kingdom to be with his partner. Unfortunately, he came too late, and upon his arrival at the UK airport, he was informed that she had died of Sepsis.
Gary was so upset because not only had his wife died, but it had happened so swiftly that he was still in disbelief. He struggled to grieve and express his emotions, so he did what he knew best: sketching. Gary often depicted his spouse and what it's like to be a single father raising children without their mother in his drawings.
Now, Gary's only hope is to raise awareness about Sepsis, the silent killer. It's hidden behind the flu's symptoms, and it is only discovered after it's too late. He is not resentful of anyone for what happened to his wife Joy, but he does wish to assist doctors in detecting it sooner, to help more people.
So, why don't you scroll down to check this touching story out? Make sure you have tissues helping with your tears!
