Samuel L. Jackson Confirms Don Cheadle And Martin Freeman Will Appear In "Secret Invasion"

As Marvel announced, Secret Invasion is a new series focusing on the silent invasion of the Skrulls into the highest command ranks on Earth. Its filming is currently underway, but we already have many interesting things to talk about right now.
During Josh Horowitz's “Happy, Sad, Confused” podcast, the star of Secret Invasion, Samuel L. Jackson has revealed the presence of Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman) and James Rhodes (Don Cheadle) in the series.

Talking about his "golf buddy" Don Cheadle, the actor seemed to be truly excited.
“Don, Don Cheadle,” he said. “I got Don, that’s my golf buddy. I didn’t realize it, but til we did this thing, I was like, ‘We’ve never worked together.’ We just kinda know each other, hang out and laugh… but we’d never worked together and we finally [got to work together].”

When asked about potential crossovers with other characters, the actor replied he couldn't say anything, but jokingly said that Captain Marvel 2 (The Marvels), Ant-Man 3 (Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantummania) and his series were all shooting at the same time in the same place, so... Who knows?

Secret Invasion is a 6-episode series produced by Marvel Studios, streaming on Disney+ from 2022, directed by Thomas Bezucha and Ali Selim and written by Kyle Bradstreet. As part of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the show features the returns of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fur, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos and Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill.
In the cast, there are also new entries like Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott, Olivia Colman, Carmen Ejogo, Christopher McDonald and Kingsley Ben-Adir in the role of the villain.
