Hernandez (the man in this story) was depressed when he lost his two Siberian Huskies. He spent the entire weekend trying to find them, but it was in vain. The dogs hopped the fence in his yard to get out and lost the track there. He posted the flyers all over his neighborhood in hope that someone would see them and contact him.

Hernandez didn’t know that his furry friends were still safe. They were taken to the Miami-Dade Animal Services after someone found them on the street. Thinking they are stray, the shelter staff help them find a new owner by using them as doggy models for a photoshoot with Ocean Drive Magazine to highlight pet adoption.

His efforts finally paid off. The man who found and took his dogs to the shelter saw his flyers. The man explained that his dogs are still safe and told him to go to the Miami-Dade shelter to pick them up.
The moment he saw his dogs posing in front of the camera for the photoshoot, he was sobbing. He yelled: “That’s my dog, man. That’s my dog.” He hugged his dogs with all his love. And of course, his furry friends were thrilled to see their owner again. He decided to get them both microchipped so that he would never lose them again.
