13 Age Gaps Between Actors Who Played Parent And Child That Are So Small, It's Weird

Actors don't appear to be able to represent their actual age in Hollywood. In films and on television, there are a lot of performers in their twenties who play teens. There are even performers who would put on a lot of prosthetics and makeup merely to play a character who is 20 years older than they are.
In the instance of on-screen parent/child duos that are disturbingly close in age, both performers are just a little too far off in age from their roles to make the age gap plausible — i.e., the persons portraying parent and kid are fewer than 15 years apart. True, we've seen 15-year-olds get pregnant in real life, but some of these performers are only a year apart in age! Although some TV parents are clearly too young to play their on-screen children's parents, others will astound you!
