These Simpsons vs. Horror Movie Characters Mashups Will Blow Your Mind

"The Simpsons" have been the ideal American family for more than three decades. And when you think about The Simpsons' best horror-infused appearances, you probably think of the annual episodes "Treehouse of Horror". But, a talented artist has now let us know that there's something more creepy than these episodes: and that is The Simpsons' characters reimaged as horror movie stars.
Peter Mahoney, a great artist, spent several months working on his project "Simpsons meets horror". Mahoney's creative mashups place our favorite cartoon characters in the roles of horror legends. Imagine classics like "A Nightmare on Elm Street", "From Dusk Till Dawn", "Jaws", "The Ring", and "The Exorcist" in the distinctive aesthetic of "The Simpsons," it's interesting and a little scary.
Check out the gallery below and let us know which one is your favorite in the comments. And don't forget to follow Peter Mahoney over on Instagram, and check out his shop on Etsy to buy prints!
