#10 Iron Man vs His Terrorist Captors
After being kidnapped by the Ten Rings in Afghanistan and rescued by Ho Yinsen, Tony was forced to make weapons for the terrorists. However, Tony was wise enough to use those materials to build his first Iron Man armor. In the battle against the Ten Rings in revenge for Yinsen, who had tragically died, Tony was the winner, then escaped into the desert.
#9 The Battle of Gulmira
Tony headed to Yinsen's hometown in order to get his improved armor. His new armor gave him a great power boost in the battle of Gulmira where he took down his enemies one by one and saved the people of Gulmira. The scene in which Tony calmly walked away while a missile exploded is one of his most iconic scenes.
#8 First meet of Tony, Thor, and Captain America
From the first time they met, there was a big clash between them. Tony wasn't pleased with Thor's action and sparked a fight against the God of Thunder. His armor was able to withstand Thor's lightning and turn that power against Thor himself. Steve eventually had to intervene to stop the fight from escalating.

Each superhero in The Avengers has a different ego, but they had to put it aside in order to unite as one team. The battle of New York was huge: the aliens are problematic enough; the nuclear missile put the Avengers in a bigger predicament. Tony was able to carry the missile and managed to survive the nuclear explosion, marking one of the best moments for Iron Man.

Tony's idea of a suit of armor went totally wrong when Wanda Maximoff intervened, which resulted in an AI bent on genocide. Wanda later unleashed the Hulk on Johnnesburg and Tony had to suit up in Hulkbuster, a special version of the armor, to save the day.

Iron Man 3 is considered to be less popular than the 2 other Iron Man movies, the battle between Tony and Killian's subordinates deserves more praise. Tony was able to summon one repulsor and one boot because the other parts didn't arrive at the same time. However, with such a few weapons, Tony still won against this great battle against Killian's goons.

The battle against Captain America and the Winter Soldier was far more difficult than Tony Stark expected. Tony attacked Bucky Barnes in order to revenge for his parent's murder. However, Bucky teamed up with Steve and they ended up winning against Iron Man.

The Avengers faced a real challenge when the Children of Thanos arrived in New York to retrieve the Time Stone from Doctor Strange. However, Tony was able to get his nano-armor, and that advanced technology helped the Avengers deal with the enemy. Unfortunately, Ebony Maw still managed to capture Doctor Strange.

Tony, together with Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy, had one of the toughest battles against Thanos. With his almost completed Gauntlet, Thanos threw a moon at Tony, but he managed to survive thanks to the armor. However, his armor couldn't save his life all the time. Despite being able to make Thanos bleed, Tony was stabbed by a piece of armor. Doctor Strange had to trade the Time Stone for Tony's life.

Thanos won the first battle against the Avengers, but not in the second face-off, which was even more vicious. Tony, Pepper, the Avengers, and also their allies all joined the battle and managed to get the Stones back. Using the armor's nano-technology, Tony took the Infinity Stone and used it himself. The power of the stone was too much for him to endure, and Tony's sacrifice was one of the most tragic moments in the whole MCU.
