Sony Reveals New Details On The Special Effects Of "Spider-Man: No Way Home"
The third Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe saga is still in theaters and continues to break different records. It is now only one step away from exceeding $ 1.7 billion at the international box office, a frightening figure given that No Way Home has not yet arrived in China, a potentially very profitable market for such films.
Recently, Sony and Marvel Studios have removed the limitations of spoilers, leaving space for the crew to open up about the filming process. For example, in a public interview, Andrew Garfield has talked about his return as Peter Parker, leaving the door open to a possible future for his character. And according to various rumors, a triple interview with the three main faces of the film will also be released in February, in addition to an additional trailer that will show the trio in action.
This is also an opportunity to give the floor to Chris Waegner, Visual Effects Supervisor at Imageworks who was responsible for the effects of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
"Early on it was quite challenging because their suits are pretty similar in tonal values and since our sequence takes place at night this only exacerbated their individual readability. It became pretty obvious once we started lighting shots what we had to do," Waegner shared.
