"Moon Knight" Reveals First Teaser And Announces Release Date

The first official trailer for Moon Knight, the new series that will bring the adventures of Marc Spector and his heroic alter ego to the screen, will be released online this Monday.
In the meantime, we can get the first taste of it thanks to the short teaser released on the Twitter profile of Hulu, a streaming service recently acquired by Disney. In the description of the post, Hulu tweeted: "Tune in MONDAY for the world trailer premiere of the all-new disneyplus original series, marvelstudios’ #MoonKnight ? during the NFL Super Wild Card matchup on espn/abcnetwork."

Moon Knight's production began last May in Budapest and officially ended in Jordan in early October. The plot of the series will center on the adventures of Marc Spector, an elite soldier and mercenary who embarks on the path of fighting crime after becoming the human avatar of Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the moon.
The new official synopsis of the series reads:
"Moon Knight is a new globetrotting action-adventure series featuring a complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt."

The showrunner designated for the series is Jeremy Slater, who had already worked on Death Note and The Umbrella Academy. Jeremy Slater will also be credited as writer and executive producer of Moon Knight. In addition, the directors announced to direct the six episodes that will make up the show will be Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson and Aaron Scott Moorhead.
Besides Oscar Isaac in the title role and Ethan Hawke in the long-awaited villain, the cast of Moon Knight also includes May Calamawy, Dina Shihabi, Alexander Cobb, Loic Mabanza and Gaspard Ulliel.
The series officially premieres on Disney+ on March 30!
