HBO Max Releases New Character Posters Of The Upcoming "Peacemaker"

HBO Max has released new posters dedicated to the characters of its upcoming Peacemaker series, which is created, written, and directed by James Gunn. And in case you haven't known yet, Peacemaker is based on the same-name character from DC Comics who is portraited by John Cena and has already made his cinematic debut this year in DCEU smash hit The Suicide Squad.
In addition to John Cena in the role of the same-name antihero, in the cast of Peacemaker, we will also see Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Robert Patrick as Auggie Smith, Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt, Steve Agee as John Economos, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase aka Vigilante, Christopher Heyerdahl as Captain Locke, Chukwudi Iwuji as Clemson Murn, Lochlyn Munro as Larry Fitzgibbon and Annie Chang as Sophie Song. Elizabeth Faith Ludlow and Rizwan Manji have also been confirmed later as Keeya and as Jamil.

According to the latest information, the first three episodes of Peacemaker will be premiered on HBO Max at the same time on January 13, 2022. The next five episodes will air weekly afterward. The series is a spin-off/sequel to Gunn's Task Force X movie, which was released in theaters this August and served as a soft reboot for the franchise.
