More specifically, Strange World will be an original action-adventure movie that brings us to an unexplored and menacing world where the Clades, a family of explorers, have to face mysterious creatures they haven't known before.
According to director Don Hall, Strange World is a reference to pulp magazines, which were pretty popular in the first half of the 20th century.

“I loved reading the old issues of pulps growing up. They were big adventures in which a group of explorers might discover a hidden world or ancient creatures. They’ve been a huge inspiration for Strange World," he said.
Directed by Hall (the Oscar-winning director of Big Hero 6 and Raya and the Last Dragon), co-directed and written by Qui Nguyen (co-writer of Raya and the Last Dragon), and produced by Roy Conli (the Oscar-winning producer behind Big Hero 6 and Rapunzel), Strange World is guaranteed to amaze and delight you on the next Thanksgiving. Let's wait and see!
