Following the success of live-action films such as The Lion King, Mulan,... the Disney Studio is adding to its growing collection of live-action remakes with "The Little Mermaid". Disney is preparing to return to the Undersea Kingdom with Ariel and her friends.
The original movie depicts Princess Ariel, a mermaid, who falls in love with Prince Eric, a human. To be with him, she strikes a bargain with Ursula- a strong sea witch. She exchanges her voice to be transformed into a human. "The Little Mermaid" was a huge hit when it was first released in 1989, and it's still considered one of Disney's legend films, so it's no surprise that it became a live-action target.
