Alex Gross is certainly not the only artist who enjoys creating colorful fanart of his favorite Movies, but not many ones love to do it on old portraits like him, that's for sure. This special kind of material makes his artworks a bit old-fashioned, but truly appealing and unique.
Gross often collects antique cabinet cards from the Victorian Era and then turns them into lovely pictures of famous characters from our modern pop culture, using oil and acrylic solely.
