If you are a lover of the animal world and Disney's animated films, then obviously Lion King is one of the most popular Disney Movies that you cannot miss. The Lion King is a 1994 American animated musical drama film directed by Peter Jackson. It is the 32nd animated feature film produced by Walt Disney and the fifth animated movie created under the Disney Renaissance.
As with Bambi, the character animators examined real-life animals for inspiration (1942). Because the characters were not anthropomorphized, all of the animators had to learn how to draw four-legged animals, and the plot and character development were accomplished by using longer shots that followed the characters. The names of the characters are based on Swahili words. Swahili terms include Simba, Sarabi, Rafiki, and Pumbaa. Simba is a lion's word, and Pumbaa is a fool!  They stand for lion, mirage, buddy, and stupid. It's perfectly meaningful!

Three years of work for a six-minute sequence. It's a little insane. To prevent the wildebeests from passing through each other while running, the CG department had to build totally new software.
