Playful Brown Bear Enjoys A Bath In Lake While His Mates Hunt Salmon
Just like human children, bears are extremely playful and mischievous. They love fish and can't resist this delicious food. For this reason, catching fish naturally comes as one of their favorite activities. But sometime, fishing is not the most attractive thing, especially for the playful brown bear in this post.

This brown bear was spotted taking a bath in the Kurile Lake, Russia while his mates were hunting salmon upstream. The animal washed himself just as a human would and spent a good 10 minutes enjoying his bath. It looked like he enjoyed it!

The sight was captured by Giuseppe D'Amico, a law graduate who was taking some pictures of bears hunting salmon. Giuseppe said: 'I was taking pictures of some bears hunting red salmon up stream when I spotted this bear in the distance."

Stunning photos show the bear tumbling around while taking a bath in the lake. "He was washing his hair as a human would, it was hilarious. He was really intent on it but was so clumsy," Giuseppe shared.

The brown bear (Ursus arctos) is a large bear species found across Eurasia and North America. The brown bear's range has shrunk, but it is still listed as a least concern species by the IUCN with a total population of approximately 200,000.
