Let’s welcome Ben Zaehringer, our special guest for today’s series of art!
Ben Zaehringer studied art and fundamental anatomy at a local college. His work takes inspiration from newspaper comics such as FoxTrot and Peanuts. Although his comics were parodies of Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z, they now incorporate references to God, Santa Claus, love, death, childhood, and 90s pop culture. Also, fairy tales, Disney films, and childhood memories have all been reimagined as weird narratives in his comics. He considered making comics a career because his uncle, Steve Moore, is a cartoonist.
He's worked really hard to perfect his banjo-playing abilities and build a solid name for himself in the comic book industry, with a few notable collection books, a fan base, etc. Look over the following 30 deftly twisted comics and enjoy!
