One Lappet-Faced Vulture Hatched At Zoo Atlanta, And They Are So Excited To Announce This To The World
Lappet-faced vulture, one of the most solitary and shiest of Old World vultures is an endangered species. Many zoos and wildlife organizations have been working hard to protect its population. It's not easy work but when a chick hatches, everything is worth it!
In eight long years, the couple produced and incubated a total of 12 eggs. Unluckily, all of them were infertile.
