Bus Station Opens Doors To Shelter Stray Dog From The Harsh Cold Winter
Winter’s arrival means the same thing for most of us, cold weather! It may be more difficult for some to keep warm.
Stray dogs are usually badly affected. Lucky for a group of street dogs in Brazil, they’ve been given somewhere to keep warm and cozy.
Employees at the Barreirinha bus terminal created a space where they can stay warm and be looked after.
Not only are they providing the stray pups with food and water, but the staff also got them animal beds made out of old tires covered with blankets.
It’s unclear if the dogs were abandoned, or if they started life as strays, either way, now they know what it’s like to feel at home.
Now this may not sound like much, but to a stray in the winter, this is as good as any 5-star hotel.
These poor dogs have clearly been through a lot and to have some humans showing them love like these must mean everything.
This gesture of kindness toward Max, Pitoco and Zoinho (the trio of stray dogs) recently caught the attention of local politician and animal lover, Fabiane Rosa.
In a post online, which has since gone viral, she praised those who took the time to make the world a friendly place for those less fortunate pups.
“Congratulations to the terminal staff, everyone understands that these angels are there and have a right to be,” Rosa wrote on Facebook. “So many companies in Curitiba could follow this example, adopting a pet. Of course, it is not ideal, but at least there are those who are looking after them.”
