This Police Horse Isn’t Ready For Morning Duty Until He Gets A Cup Of Tea

No one likes dragging themselves out of the bed for work in the morning. And, they love to drink something to boost their mood right away. A mug of tea or a cup of coffee is more preferred.
And, this 20-year-old police horse is no different. He refuses to get up to start his shift without a big mug of tea. He just wants his new day to come in this cool way.

Jake (name of the horse) has been working for the Merseyside Police in the UK for 15 years. He often polices football matches and sometimes serves as a police horse at Aintree Racecourse to oversee the annual Grand National.

The veteran has had an excellent performance at work and always proves to be a calm and dedicated staff.

Jake loves nothing but a cup of lovely sugary tea in the morning before he leaves his enclosure for work. His tea should be not too hot so that he doesn't burn his tongue. His treat will be more awesome if it is added some skimmed milk and cold water. What a gourmet!

"I’d definitely describe Jake as a horse with a lot of character. We’ve all learnt his tea order – he’ll deal with one sugar, but is definitely happier when you remember to give him two,". Lindsey Gaven, the mounted section manager and trainer for the Merseyside police said.

Jack feels he can perform better at work when he is treated a big mug of tea. And, the horse has started each and every day the exact same way until he retired from the force last year.
