17 Stars Whose Breakout Roles Gradually Sink Into Oblivion

Every actor has a humble start, even the most iconic Hollywood royalty had to start somewhere. While some actors create a breakthrough as a child, some take their time. Leo Dicaprio was a case in point. The actor achieved international stardom with the role of Jack in “Titanic” but it was actually his performance as a developmentally disabled boy in “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” that bestowed him success in Hollywood.
Also, many starts in commercials, tiny roles, or forgotten independent films and this goes on for years that they languish and don’t get any further. It’s so sad, right? But, you know what’s more regrettable? Actors had one role that made their face and name known to the entire planet but over decades, this role is gradually forgotten. Just a few people still put it in their memories.
Scroll down to see which roles seem to be gradually forgotten.
