It is studied that famous faces are rendered unrecognizable in the absence of eyebrows, while faces without eyes are still identifiable. It is the main reason why designers are trying to neutralize famous faces on the runway by bleaching out models’ brows.
The anti-brow trend is not a new phenomenon. In fact, a lot of famous people embraced it before it was cool – whether it’s shaved or bleached. They have tried this look out for themselves and then come back and ask others “Would you ever go brow-less?”. For example, Miley Cyrus shared her bleached set via Instagram, or Katy Perry decided to erase her brows for her music video.
