15 Famous Faces Who Almost Became A Part Of The “Harry Potter” Legacy But Didn’t Make The Cut

If you grew up watching Harry Potter, the series probably holds some nostalgic feelings for you still. The film series is based on the eponymous novels by J.K. Rowling. The eight films are required tons of actors for both key roles and background extras. The casting of characters was thoroughly done to do justice to the character’s original versions in the books.
With so many Harry Potter films out there, it’s hard to imagine who would turn down a role in a world-famous franchise. While Daniel Radcliffe was destined to be Harry Potter, and Emma Watson knew the role of Hermione Granger belonged to her but others didn’t have the same fate. Some actors initially said no to the franchise while some simply didn’t land the part they wished. The movies and their characters might have been totally different if these actors were cast.
