15 Adorable And Funny Stories Made From Disney Figurine And Imagination
Melissa Trierweiler is a multi-talented Kansas City native who acts, directs, and teaches when she's not selling tickets. Yet when night falls, the 25-year-old puts on productions for her Disney dolls. This whole incident began during her first year of college. Melissa: "At the time, and even now, I had a good following of just around 2,000 since I was a major Tumblr user."
The student felt it would be humorous to present certain events in a novel way, so she snapped photographs of the figurines in stances as if they were chatting to each other, added captions using Snapchat, and posted the images to her personal Tumblr in an episodic fashion. "Since I didn't plan on making too many episodes, I came up with the fake title "The Official Princess Club" and a list of episode numbers. For kicks, I put up eight episodes as they occurred to me."
Nonetheless, it appeared to be popular with the audience. "On December 31, 2014, tensions began to rise. A handful of my episodes had started taking fire [on the platform] earlier that day, so by midnight I had 4,000 followers, my count doubling in a matter of hours. I had hoped to get 2,014 followers by the end of the night, thinking it would be a wonderful thing for the new year. When I woke up the next day, I had over 10,000 followers, over a hundred messages, and my episodes were going viral."
