Improvisations have contributed to innumerable memorable moments in the world of cinema. And occasionally, actors with the ability to modify themselves suffice rather than using tricks or special effects to produce a memorable result.
To come up with anything amusing and intriguing for this episode, the show's writers struggled. David Schwimmer mispronounced the names during a script reading, calling his fiancée Rachel rather than Emily. This served as the model for that series' defining scene.

The actor’s crying face, which later became a meme, was completely sincere. Actor James van der Beek said, “It wasn’t scripted, I don’t think. I mean, it was appropriate for the scene. You know, it was just high drama; you’ve been living with this character for a while and a scene like that just kind of drops in your lap and you just lose it. They yell cut and say, ‘Oh my god. That was amazing!’ So I remember being completely surprised by it because it was completely sincere. The fact that it’s being used to mock me now, I think it’s so funny.”

When Carrell decided to surprise everyone and kiss one of his employees, Oscar, he added a little spark to the atmosphere.

John Krasinski is known worldwide for his role as Jim in The Office. From the very first episode, you can tell that he is in love with his co-worker Pam. And when he decides to confess his love to her, she turns him down, telling him that his friendship means a lot to her. At that moment, his face changed color, and he began to cry and said to her, "Don't do that." John added that line to the script, giving the scene more strength and sadness.

The final moment in the third season of Stranger Things was challenging for Millie Bobbie Brown to film. The young actress, who at one point dropped in tears in the arms of her buddy Finn Wolfhard, had already been filming for days and it had been incredibly exhausting for the entire crew. In fact, the actor can be seen briefly departing the character and staring confusedly at the film crew, but the action goes on, and the director liked it so much that it is kept in the final edit.

Bryan Cranston experienced this when the young actress who was portraying his baby started calling her mother, who was present on the set. As he did throughout the whole run of Breaking Bad, Bryan stayed in character and delivered an outstanding performance.

In the series, Euphoria, Cassie, played by Sydney Sweeney, screams "I'm crazier!" with her co-star when he warned her that his ex would be very upset if she found out they were dating because she was crazy. This line was completely improvised.

There's a key scene in the How I Met Your Mother series, where Jason Segel's reaction is completely improvised. Actress Alyson Hannigan, who plays Segel's wife, conspired with the screenwriters to change the scene without his knowledge. In the original script, she was supposed to go to him and tell him she was pregnant, but in the end, she told him that her father had passed away. They got a heartfelt and emotional performance from Jason, shooting the scene in just one shot.

But the actors' kiss wasn't scripted; they just decided to share one when they felt like it. The authors of the series enjoyed it and left, therefore they were correct.
In a Grey's Anatomy scene, Jo kisses her friend Arizona in front of her fiance after getting some good news. Even Arizona's actress is surprised because the kiss came as a complete surprise. Fans of the show questioned Camilla Luddington, who plays Jo, about if the kiss was in the script after the episode aired. She responded that it was not.
