1. Tom Cruise Demanded Stretchy G-string Underwear

Tom Cruise is famous for dangerous stunts and the secret behind his smooth action scenes is pretty weird: custom-made G-strings. yup, you read that right. These specific underwears need to be made from soft, stretchy material so that he feels unrestricted during his action scenes.
Tom Cruise admitted that it was pretty embarrassing for him at first, but as he grew older he saw it more as a way of ­improving his flexibility.

2. George Clooney Requested A Custom-made Beach Hut

The movie Gravity was filmed in London, the city that was notoriously known for its rains. George Clooney decided to bring “a bit of California to London” by requesting a house built specifically for him. The movie crew compromised by giving him a special trailer with a private beach hut attached to it. The private beach hut had a private landscape garden, a hot tub, a deck area, and a basketball court. It cost them $130,000 to satisfy his demand.

In this movie, he played a man who had cerebral palsy and demanded to be treated like one on set. To stay in his character for the whole shoot, the actor asked to be wheeled around the set in his wheelchair. The crew members were required to spoon-feed him and lift him around.

Bruce Willis could have been a character in The Expendables 3, but his extravagant demand made him lose the role to the hand of Harrison Ford. So what was his request? Well, the action movie star demanded 4 million dollars for 4 days of consecutive work on location in Bulgaria, which meant he got paid $1,000,000 per day. The studio tried to offer him 3 million dollars instead, but he refused.

When Johnny Depp accepted the role of Grindelwald in the third Fantastic Beasts movie, he made sure the studio agree to his “pay or play” conditions. Basically, if the production gets delayed or even canceled, the actor will be fully paid anyway. Depp only starred in one scene before Warner Bros left him, but he still got paid. His entire fee for the movie was rumored to be about $16 million.

You might ask yourself why can he just wait until the work is done and then play as much as he wants. Well, turns out the work is almost never done for Samuel. He is one of the hardest-working actors in Hollywood and his schedule is almost always full.

To ensure his tough guy image, he limits the number of punches he can take during a fighting scene. The actor will assign a numerical value to each blow he receives on screen. Diesel thinks that this act will guarantee that each actor will take an equal number of punches and won’t look less tough than their co-stars.

Dwayne Johnson also has to play a lot of badass characters, so he has a special clause in his contracts. This clause ensures that The Rock won’t lose any on-screen fight. However, Dwayne also doesn’t want to look fake on screen, so he hires a whole team of producers, editors, and fight choreographers who help him assure that his victories are as realistic as possible.

During her shooting of the movie Eloise in Paris, Uma Thurman requested discounts in her contract. According to her clause, any clothes and wigs used during the shoot could be bought with these discounts if she wanted. The actress also asked for the best dressing room.

During the shooting of Men in Black III in New York City, Will Smith asked for 2 luxurious trailers. One of them just to accommodate his gym equipment, the other costs about $2,000,000 and has a fully-equipped kitchen with Italian cabinets and arched windows.
