There are a lot of reasons that can lead to the doom of a movie, like bad marketing or inappropriate timing. With that being said, many bad Movies are not bad at all! In fact, a lot of people think these trashy movies are pretty entertaining to watch. They probably won't make you question your entire existence or cry for days afterward like the Oscar-nominated ones, but they will definitely save you from boredom.
So let’s take a look at some bad movies that are actually guilty pleasures of many people. They deserve another chance, and probably some apologies for being misjudged for such a long time.
White Chicks is funny AF to watch. The plot was very entertaining, the acting was fantastic and the character development was great. Everybody from the main characters to the side characters is hilarious. It’s a great comedy and the fact that it has such a low score on Rotten Tomatoes is one of the worst tragedies ever.
The critics hate this movie. but once you give it a go you will find Burlesque is a pretty entertaining film to watch. Cher and Christina Aguilera make an iconic duo and the dancing scenes in this movie are just beautiful. The costumes, the choreography, the setting, the songs, and everything else in this movie will bring you back to the old glam days of Hollywood. Definitely worth a watch.
The House Bunny is a silly movie, but the silliness is what makes this movie so great! The cast did an amazing job and the plot was quite hilarious. You shouldn’t take anything in this movie seriously. Once you do that, you will get a good laugh out of this film.
Every Shrek movie is great. Shrek the Third might not be as good as the other films in the franchise, but it’s still a pretty good story to kill your boredom with. Plus, watching a bunch of princesses and ladies joining together into a badass squad is kinda awesome.

If you pay close attention to the lines in the film, you will find that the story in this movie is pretty deep. The horror scenes are quite gory and the chemistry between the two main characters is so good. Plus, Megan Fox in this movie is just iconic.
Hocus Pocus is a Halloween movie that comes out in the middle of summer. Needless to say, the film flopped. Thankfully, over the years people starting to realize how amazing it is. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy are delightful and the song in this movie will stay in your head for days. Hocus Pocus deserve the title of a Halloween classic movie that everybody should see at least once.
If you think every sequel is bad, then Home Alone 2: Lost In New York is gonna surprise you. It’s as endearing as the first movie and twice as hilarious. The elaborate traps and the quirky villains are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. It definitely deserves a spot on your Holiday movie list.
The cast is great, the script is funny, and the overall message of the movie is quite awesome. We honestly do not get why The Perfect Score received such a low score on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s the ultimate feel-good movie!
Before you watch Baywatch, keep in mind that this movie is a huge exaggeration and it is created to make fun of the cheesy movie tropes. There is nothing serious in this movie. With that being said, Baywatch did a good job keeping the best things about the TV show while mocking the things that should be mocked. Plus, the cast is just charming.
The lines are iconic AF, and the plot is nothing too complicated, but it also isn’t anything bad. This movie is just pure wholesome.
