25+ Celebrities Who Starred With Their Kids in Films and TV Shows

Parents always want to help their kids in pursuing their dream. Additionally, they can support their children who want to work in the same field as them.
When it comes to actors, one of our favorite things to see in Hollywood is when actors share the screen with their kids. It's common for parents to act alongside their kids; it's a great way to maintain it in the family and continue the legacy. We love it when a mother or a father and their child collaborate.
Celebrities may even find it easy to act together with their kids because it allows them to spend quality time together. We all know that making Movies takes time and effort; celebrities can go months without seeing their families. So, with that said, let's look at some movies in which parents acted with their children.

#1 Andie MacDowell & Margaret Qualley

In Netflix's Maid, Margaret Qualley had the chance to co-star with her mother, actress Andie MacDowell. According to Qualley to Collider, the casting was her idea.
She referred to their time spent together on-screen as "one of the more surreal experiences of my life."

#2 Angelina Jolie & Vivienne Jolie-Pitt

Jolie had no intention of having any of her kids appear in the movie Maleficent when she took on the role of its evil title character.
But as Jolie explained to Entertainment Weekly, "the other three and four-year-old [performers] wouldn't come near me," so her daughter Vivienne ended up playing baby Princess Aurora.

#3 Billy Ray Cyrus & Miley Cyrus

Billy Ray Cyrus is a model father both on and off the screen. The country singer co-starred with his daughter Miley Cyrus in the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana, where he plays a role aptly named Robby Ray.

Tristan, one of his twins, plays a younger version of Hemsworth's main character. Meanwhile, the actor told Kevin McCarthy of Entertainment Weekly that his daughter, India, "plays the character of Love."

He told GQ about his father, "I've tried to take every opportunity I can to learn from him... Every chance I get, I'm trying to be on set with him."

#7 Demi Moore & Rumer Willis

Demi Moore co-starred in Striptease with her daughter Rumer Willis in 1996, a film about a mother who turns to dance to pay the bills. She said that there was no shame in her daughter witnessing her portrayal of a stripper.
Rumer would also appear in the 2005 film Hostage alongside her father, Bruce Willis.

#8 Domhnall Gleeson & Brendan Gleeson

I have so long admired what my dad had done and … I think he really let me have space to find my own footing." He said that his father taught him an important lesson.
