If you are a comic lover, you might know the award-winning UK-based phenomenon Alex Norrisand whose widely known for the “Webcomic Name” series. Alex Norris has been creating art since he was ten, but he didn’t start working on it full-time until he graduated from college. He also had side jobs to pay the rent. After finishing his studies at the University of Bristol, he started to do web-comics, the lowest form of all media. He experimented with short-form comics with his very first brainchild, “Dorris McComics,” to see what he might accomplish. After graduating, Alex chose to pursue his dream of becoming a writer and decided to make a few changes to his concepts. And the “Webcomic Name” series was born.

The focus of Alex’s comics is a “badly drawn blob” character who experiences a range of disappointments in life, both great and small. They have won the hearts of the Internet as a whole. His “Webcomic Name” initially started as just a joke comic, with the series beginning in the summer of 2016. Its objectives included having a catchphrase, looking similar, and being instantly recognizable. The incredibly self-aware negative culture which has been prevalent for a while is a portion of what the series parodies. Also, it addresses gender perception as a social issue.
