Although she is unsure, she believes she may understand why Justin Bieber avoided running into the judge because he was allegedly afraid of her.

Judge Judy has admitted that she terrifies one of the biggest music stars in the world.

In an interview with Access Online, Judy, real name Judy Sheindlin, revealed that in 2014, when Justin Bieber was just 19 years old, they had shared a residence.
Additionally, he was "scared to death" of her in the past.

They shared a Beverly Hills residence.

Bieber and Sheindlin shared an apartment at the Montage Hotel, and Sheindlin recollects witnessing Bieber act in an impolite manner.
She said, "There was a period of time before he grew up when he was foolish and doing foolish things."

She can't recall precisely what she said to frighten him so severely.

"I must have said something about [his bad behaviour] and then, I understood that he was paying the front door people [at Montage Hotel] to let them know when I was there, coming and going, so he wouldn't have to bump into me."

People believe it was her remark about his arrest after some investigation.

Justin Bieber was detained and accused of drunk driving in 2014.
Back then, Sheindlin shared in an interview with CBS News, "Being a celebrity is a gift; you can either treat it reverently, or you can make a fool out of yourself, and he's doing a very good job of making a fool out of himself."

He also engaged in other activities throughout that time.

In addition, he was charged with vandalism and attacking a limo driver.
Sheindlin didn't stop there while discussing the subject: "Nobody's going to remember that he was a marginal singer, but they're going to remember a young kid, who had a chance to have it all, and who is blowing it by acting like a fool. I think it’s sad.”
Bieber has spoken about his prior problems but hasn't yet confirmed if he is truly terrified of Judge Judy or not.
He claimed in a statement that his battles with drug and alcohol abuse were what brought him to such a low point.

He added that during that period, he had become hostile and distant.

"I became resentful, disrespectful to women and angry. I became distant to everyone who loved me... I felt like I could never turn it around," he shared.

Despite those emotions, he tried very hard to recover.

In his YouTube documentary series, Bieber discussed his current opinion: "I'm committed to getting better and committed to doing whatever I have to do, whether it's inconvenient or not. Because I know ultimately it's not only for me."
"Being the best version of myself will enable me to be the best partner, parent, and friend I can be."
It is clear that he put in the effort to get better and rehabilitate because his profession is as successful.
