25 Waggish Comics By Phil Thompson That Continue Your Favorite Superhero Movies

Are Superheroes a big interest of yours? You are utterly mistaken if you believe that the only reason for their celebrity is because of popular movies. In fact, the Superhero phenomenon has always been driven by the legendary comic. Movies are made with visual effects, while comics are not, so that is the only distinction between them. Why don’t we experiment with some crazy comics based on the same theme as we are all familiar with the fascinating details and breathtaking scenes in movies? Are you energized? BE READY!
The fantastic Chicago-based duo of Phil Thompson, an illustrator, and Andrew Nadeau, a writer, collaborated to produce the comic book series “The Mediocre Superheroes,” which features funny drawings that depict the more relatable side of Superheroes. “Wonder City Studio” is owned and operated by Phil Thompson. He grew up admiring “The Far Side” and “Calvin and Hobbes,” two exceptional comics that motivated him to produce his own artwork. Andrew Nadeau, a writer and comedian, hosts the Spitfire comedy performance at Lincoln Lodge. As well as hosting the podcast “Here’s Where It Went Wrong," he contributes writing to several websites and journals. They tell tales of characters with amazing missions but common flaws and difficulties in their work.
The absurdity of some of the common heroes was adored by the creators. They each brought a notebook full of ideas to their first meeting, according to Andrew, and that is just how they came up with the idea for Captain Psych, their very first character. They are the Goose Whisperer and his Goose buddy. Fabrikator, who can construct anything but is terribly ineffective at the same time. And Robolt, a very swift and strong robot that doesn’t comprehend mankind or why he should have to help us. The artists sought to convey how uncomfortable and humorous it could genuinely be for them to blend in so well in their novels and films. It was difficult to create a universe of average superheroes, though.
The creation of something that Andrew believes in and that also makes people smile is something he is passionate about. It is just incredible how each week the artists create a vast universe that only exists in their minds. Today, go get yourself some tissues as you’ll be looking at their 25 waggish comics by Phil Thompson below!
