Steve Nelson, who is based in Brighton, England, is well-known for creating the comic series “The Temp” on Audible Originals. Nelson has also contributed to a number of TV and radio programs. Since he was 16 years old, he has been writing comedy, first as a stand-up comic and subsequently for radio and TV. Later, he received his own comedy series on Audible (named The Temp), but he desired to begin producing comedy where he’d be in charge. He resorted to painting, his first love, as it was so liberating to come up with concepts that people could see every day. Later, he was hired as a writer for the BBC radio comedies Newsjack and The Show What You Wrote before penning scripts for the TV comedies Watson & Oliver and Off Their Rockers, all of which aired on BBC 2. Prior to receiving his BBC radio comedy pilot called Unforeseen Circumstances, he authored scores of original radio and television scripts and developed them with various production firms.
