35 Steve Nelson’s Sarcastic Pieces Of Art That’ll Show You The Power Of Human Creativity

Comics generally adhere to a predetermined plot and are frequently predictable; you can usually foresee how things normally end up. And Steve Nelson is one of the best comic creators when it comes to surprising yet sometimes spooky strips. This comedic writer and illustrator knows how to make people smile with funny comics, and a certain way to achieve it. Even though his comics initially appear to be quite straightforward, a closer look reveals much more. Such works are actually noted for their sarcasm and deadpan humor, which may be why he has amassed so much support on social media in such a short period of time. Would you mind joining us to dive deeper into his masterpieces of a lifetime?
Steve Nelson, who is based in Brighton, England, is well-known for creating the comic series “The Temp” on Audible Originals. Nelson has also contributed to a number of TV and radio programs. Since he was 16 years old, he has been writing comedy, first as a stand-up comic and subsequently for radio and TV. Later, he received his own comedy series on Audible (named The Temp), but he desired to begin producing comedy where he’d be in charge. He resorted to painting, his first love, as it was so liberating to come up with concepts that people could see every day. Everyone can find variation and randomness in the artist because he rarely works with limited themes.
The art of the Egyptians misinterpreting the building directions in the pyramids is Steve’s personal favorite. His love for drawing and his ability to make others laugh inspires him to continue his work. When he was 18 years old, he began doing stand-up comedy. Later, he was hired as a writer for the BBC radio comedies Newsjack and The Show What You Wrote before penning scripts for the TV comedies Watson & Oliver and Off Their Rockers, all of which aired on BBC 2. Prior to receiving his BBC radio comedy pilot called Unforeseen Circumstances, he authored scores of original radio and television scripts and developed them with various production firms. What a feat!
Steve’s illustrations are mostly intended to make people laugh. Also, money. The artist has only ever drawn non-sequiturs and written one-liners. You’re finding a collection of 35 of his works that are full of biting, ironic jokes with a sense of the absurd below. Enjoy them all and visit his website and social media for the cruder and more cartoonish ones!
