In 2022, it was announced that Field would be a co-star in an upcoming comedy movie entitled 80 for Brady. Besides being famous for acting, she also released a few singles and an album.

Lansbury made her penultimate film appearance playing her last starring role in the 2018 fantasy film Buttons: A Christmas Tale. Lansbury's final film role was a cameo appearance in Rian Johnson's 2022 detective drama Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.

Rampling plays a grouchy grandmother in New Zealand writer-director Matthew J. Saville's 2021 black comedy Juniper. Additionally, in 2015, she released her autobiography, which she wrote in French, titled Qui Je Suis (Who I am).

Fonda filmed the seventh and final season of Grace and Frankie in 2021. In November 2021, it was announced Fonda would be in the second installment of Amazon Prime Video's Yearly Departed. Fonda was a political activist in the counterculture era during the Vietnam War. She was photographed sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun on a 1972 visit to Hanoi, during which she gained the nickname "Hanoi Jane".

In 2022, she starred in a film adaptation of Long Day's Journey into Night. Jessica Lange: An Adventurer’s Heart, her biography by film scholar, historian, and journalist Anthony Uzarowski is scheduled to be released in June 2023. Lange is also a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.
