Madonna and Cardi B are the most recent celebrities that got into a clash on the Internet. It happened after Madonna mentioned the female rapper on an Instagram story.
Cardi was not really happy with an emoji that the Queen of Pop had used.

On the 30-year anniversary of her 1992 erotica book “S.E.X”, Maddie posted a story on her Instagram account and called out Cardi B, Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus as references of her impact in the Entertainment industry. “Now Cardi B can sing about her WAP. Kim Kardashian can grace the cover of any magazine with her naked ass and Miley Cyrus can come in like a wrecking ball.”, she wrote. She continued “You’re welcome bitches,” and added a clown emoji.
During the early 1990s, it used to be the era of powerful vocalists such as Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and Shania Twain. The audience loved the ballads that were performed by diva-like voices with standard images. However, Madonna changed their point of view.
She got called the Queen of Pop not because of her vocal talent. Compared to the most famous pop singers during that time, Madonna created a revolution by the way she performed and expressed her artistic freedom. Which means female artists can freely express the point of view while performing, including their sexual perspective.

Among the mentioned celebrities, Cardi was the only one that was not very happy with Madonna’s statement. She tweeted “I literally (paid) this woman homage so many times cause I grew up listening to her… she can make her point without putting clown emojis and getting slick out the mouth” and attached a picture of an article from 2018 in which she praised the Queen of Pop. Then she added “These icons really become disappointments once u make it in the industry that’s why I keep to myself.”
The rapper was clearly pissed off. However, the American Life singer seems to be not bothered. She tweeted “I love you @iamcardib !! ♥️ Always have and always will.” Certainly, the female rapper missed her point since Madonna was not meant to drag anyone but proving her impact and legacy.
Later on, the rapper of Please Me also tweeted “I talked to Madonna …It was beautiful ?….Have a great day and drive safely yallll?”. She also replied to Madonna’s tweet “Love you ❤️”. It was the quickest feud between celebrities in history.

The CEO of Hollywood Unlocked was also involved in the Madonna Cardi B clown emoji incident. On his Twitter, he confirmed that they both got along with each other “On the phone with Madonna and Cardi. Listening to both women share their perspective on the communication going on has broadened their love for each other.” Many people expressed their wholesome feelings toward this incident and felt lucky that Nicki Minaj was not involved. Otherwise it would be a 10-day debate on Twitter.
