Disney stars over the years. There were many troublemakers from the house of Disney, but some took it to the next extreme. These Disney stars who've been arrested are examples of how the mighty have fallen. Some were arrested for drinking and driving, and others were charged with manslaughter.
They could have had a bright future if they hadn’t gotten themselves in trouble and ruined their reputation. So let’s take a look at the Disney stars who’ve fallen from grace and see what crimes they committed.
1. Britney Spears from Mickey Mouse Club

Britney Spears was an iconic singer before her mental breakdowns and a bunch of dramas with her ex. She used to be a member of Disney’s “The Mickey Mouse Club” alongside big names such as Ryan Gosling and Christina Aguilera. In 2007, Spears was charged with hit-and-run and driving without a valid license. One year later in 2008, she was arrested and taken away by ambulance after she refused to give up the custody of her children.
2. Shia LaBeouf from Even Stevens

Shia LaBeouf became famous thanks to his role as Louis Stevens in the Disney Channel series Even Stevens. He then went on and starred in the Transformers franchise and the 2014 movie Fury. The actor could have had an amazing career, but he got himself in trouble instead. He was arrested for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, and obstruction. Not only that, but LaBeouf also spent a couple of days in jail after he attempted to stab a neighbor.
3. Lindsay Lohan from The Parent Trap

Lindsay Lohan became a household name after The Parent Trap, but nowadays people mostly remembered her as one of the most infamous cases of Disney stars going bad. She was 20 years old when she was arrested for suspicion of DUI. The actress then went through a string of arrests from 2007 to 2012 with charges including DUI, possession of cocaine, and possession of a suspended license.
4. David Henrie from Wizards of Waverly Place

Wizards of Waverly Place held a special place in many people’s hearts. Every Disney fan just adored the characters in the show, especially the main cast. But everything soon changed after the brainy big brother Justin Russo was arrested for carrying a loaded gun at LAX airport in September 2018. He was sentenced to two years probation and 20 days of community labor.
5. Jake T. Austin from Wizards of Waverly Place

Speaking of the Russos, the youngest member of the family also got in trouble with the law. Jake T. Austin was arrested for a DUI in November 2013. According to TMZ, he was also involved in a 4-car hit-and-run crash. When officers arrived at the scene, the actor wasn't there. Jake was then charged with two counts of DUI but they were ultimately dismissed. He still had to serve 24 months of probation.
6. Debby Ryan from Suite Life of on Deck

Most of us know Debby Ryan as Bailey Pickett in the iconic Disney series The Suite Life on Deck. She was arrested for DUI in 2016. The actress drove her Audi into a Mercedes-Benz car and injured the other driver. She could have been facing felony charges, but the police bumped it down to a misdemeanor as the injury was minor. Still, she was arrested for DUI and had to serve three years of probation.
7. Phill Lewis from The Suite Life of Zack & Cody

Another Suite Life of on Deck star that got in trouble with the law was none other than Mr. Moseby. However, his case was much much worse. Before he starred in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Phill Lewis was sentenced to five years in prison for killing 21-year-old Isabel Duarte while driving drunk, but four years were suspended. According to the Orlando Sentinel, Phill's "blood measured three times the legal limit of intoxication."
8. Mitchel Musso from Hannah Montana

The Hannah Montana star was arrested for DUI in 2011. According to TIME, Mitchel "drove through [an] intersection and failed to do what [an] officer instructed him to do." The actor posted $5,000 bail and was released from jail.
9. Orlando Brown from That's So Raven

In 2008, Orlando Brown was arrested for drug possession and a DUI. He was re-arrested in 2012 for another DUI. He was also charged with domestic battery, burglary, and felony drug possession over the years. Nowadays we rarely see him on TV or any sort of social media platform anymore.
