25 Times People Were Shocked By "Shrinkflation", They Felt Compelled To Post The Evidence Online

Do you know the term "shrinkflation"? Have you ever spotted any examples of shrinkflation? For those who aren't aware, shrinkflation is an alternative way for businesses to raise prices. It is the practice of downsizing a product's size or quality but keeping its suggested retail price the same. As a result of rising costs for manufacturing and materials, instead of raising prices, which not everyone likes or supports, businesses choose the better way which is downsizing the quantity or quality of their products.
Most of the time, customers don't realize they have to pay the same for a lesser net weight. And it's not quite fair for them. Therefore, many customers have shared their bad shopping experiences with others online. The subreddit r/shrinkflation was even created for them to easily post and find related posts. We have collected a few examples of shrinkflation. Some of them are painfully hilarious. Scroll down to check them out.
