In the book, Harry Potter is described as having green eyes like his mother’s so Daniel Radcliffe was demanded to wear green contact lenses due to his actual blue eyes. However, the idea didn’t go to plan because that could hurt his eyes.

Costume designer Jany Temime made a decision, letting the main trio wear casual clothes instead of donning classic Hogwarts school uniforms. It was because at that time Harry, Ron, and Hermione were teenagers.

Temime revealed that while most actors agreed with their clothes, Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley often had opinions. In fact, that was good for the movie. The actress is the daughter of 2 well-known jewelers, so she has their fashion sense.
