Historical Movies are seen as a window into another time or as a time machine, helping us travel through other eras. However, most of them are inaccurate which can spoil the fun. Some inaccuracies are created to enhance suspense or add exposition so it’s easy for viewers to spot them. Some cases include both extremely realistic and silly errors at once.
Though films and TV shows pass by dozens of pairs of eyes before they are officially released on the screen, goofs can still happen, and sometimes objects that don’t belong make the final cut.

All death sentences in the movie are committed with an electric chair. It was impossible because, in Louisiana, the electric chair wasn’t used until 1941 while the movie’s events take place in 1935.#2 The Imitation Game, 2014
