Holly Fae was just chilling out on her bed when the thought of becoming Elsa from Frozen came to her. As Fae pulled out her iPad and opened Procreate, she gave the well-known Frozen character a new appearance. If you ask Fae to change Elsa's appearance, she opts for a more... traditional approach. She tried to picture how the princess might appear if she were endowed with more human characteristics. Once Fae finished her work, she posted it to TikTok. That gained a lot of attention very quickly.
This video has been so successful that she has chosen to make it into a series in which viewers get to choose who will be the focus of subsequent installments. The artist was intending to turn an image of Elsa into a meme until she noticed how large her eyes were, prompting her to abandon the project. To satisfy her curiosity, she began the transformation process while filming it. "I was extremely eager to see what she may look like with proportions closer to the original 2D princesses," she said. It started off as a joke, but "before I knew it, the video had gone viral and people were demanding different princesses, so it simply grew into a great project!"
