Movie posters are used to advertise upcoming films. Throughout cinema history, there are countless iconic posters that do a great job of catching huge attention. However, some hold viewers’ attention for completely wrong reasons. So, today we’ll mention Photoshop fails.
Due to designers and editors’ carelessness, the appearance of actors is changed, looking so weird. Characters are truly featured with exaggerated physical attributes. For example, they have abnormally long arms and fingers, female characters own incredibly thin waists, or superheroes can defeat the laws of physics. These mistakes sometimes create humorous visual effects and are entertaining for audiences to spot before movies’ release.

#1 Spider-Man 2

Take a closer look at the poster of “Spider-Man 2”, you can see the abnormalities of the characters’ arms. Kirsten Dunst’s limb is exceptionally long, and Tobey Maguire’s bicep is quite disproportional.

This poster shows how Andrew Garfield defies the law of gravity. Despite his power, his location on the side of a building raises some questions. If houses in the city stand up, he would definitely fall down.

The movie is about Steve Rogers who has to face numerous moral dilemmas while finding his place in the modern world. Look at its poster, we clearly see it was exaggeratedly photoshopped. The character has an incredibly big chest, but thin legs and waist.

#4 Spider-Man: Homecoming

The movie’s poster is totally unbalanced. There are many characters and special effects on the right side compared to the left. Huge sparks fly out of nowhere and 2 different cityscapes illogically collide with each other.

#5 X-Men: First Class

This poster was designed to show the 2 versions of the character. It’s why Jame McAvoy’s head unexpectedly appears in the silhouette of a more adult incarnation of Professor X. The inexplicable crop enhances the awkwardness.

#6 Thor: The Dark World

All characters appear in one poster, even the Dark Elves army. Because of effects, some actors look like disappearing ghosts. Looking to the left, we can see tiny characters’ expressions as if they are fighting with somebody we can’t see.

After the “Aquaman” poster was released, many people recognized that the background featured fish taken from one of the most popular stocks. They started creating their own versions with new characters, so the Aquaman poster turned into a meme.

The poster is full of members from the Avenger team. Looking closely, we realize that Robert Downey Jr. has a small head while Captain America’s shield is enormous.
