When we were children, we were told stories of heroes who triumphed against evil. These tales shaped our worldview. Either one of two things has happened to every one of us: either we have dressed up as our favorite comic book hero, or we have watched them accomplish heroic feats on film. It is tough not to believe in a universe of superheroes after learning that some of our most cherished cinematic characters have their origin tales.
