We often assume that our favorite celebrities have always been prosperous, successful, and the kind of people we aspire to be. It might be hard to imagine the most accomplished among them ever being anything less than affluent and perfect. But not all celebrities were born with a silver spoon in their mouths. Most of the big names in acting, music and sports started their lives as ordinary people just like you and me. Some of them started even lower.
Below is a list of famous people who were once homeless and had no place to sleep except on the streets. From poor to rich millionaire, scroll down to see how many of your favorite actors and actresses once didn't have a roof over their heads. Many more than you might believe.

He had to work in restaurants while attending the National Youth Theater in London during his formative years as an actor. He used to periodically sleep on park benches as a struggling actor before he rose to the top of the profession.
Halle Berry was encouraged to study acting by her teacher and moved to New York to pursue her career. However, she was evicted from her apartment and ended up in a homeless shelter. Despite this, she was determined to find a way to succeed and has become one of the most successful actresses, winning both a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She also played a homeless woman in the movie Jungle Fever.
She experienced ups and downs while residing in Hollywood, and at one time she found herself without a place to stay. She was in a difficult situation and just had little spare coins. As he was without a place anymore, Steve had to sleep on the floor of his friend's dorm room. Along with collecting Coke bottles, which he subsequently traded for cash, Steve also received a free lunch once a week from the neighborhood temple. Later, when he introduced many typefaces and proportionally spaced fonts in Mac, it all made sense because he wouldn't have known about them if it hadn't been for the calligraphy lesson.
Stallone experienced financial hardship prior to having the opportunity to find fame in the Entertainment industry. The situation was so severe that he had to sell his dog in order to live since he had nowhere to stay and was forced to sleep at the bus station. After a while, though, things began to turn around: Stallone's blockbuster film Rocky became a success, and he began to make more money. He went back to the person he had sold his dog to, got his pet back, and everything turned up well.
But it seems that certain fantasies were destined to come true. She won an audition for the first season of the reality television program American Idol: The Search for a Superstar after being encouraged to do so by a friend.
