Born in São Paulo, February 1, 1989, as Marco Fábio Maldonado Pigossi, the Brazilian actor was raised by parents Mariness Maldonado and Oswaldo Pigossion. Not many people know that he first started in theatre at the age of 13 and was a professional swimmer and the runner-up of the state of São Paulo in 2005.
In 2003, he was selected by SBT to act in the Brazilian version of Rebelde Way as Paulo RobertoPopular for his role as Dylan on ‘Tidelands’ and Fábio in ‘High Seas’, he soon climbed the success ladder. In the role of Eric — an Environmental Police officer hunting the killer of his wife — Marco Pigossi is simply perfect.

Marco Pigossi is one of Brazil's brightest stars. Most recently he starred in the Netflix hit, Invisible City created by Carlos Saldhana, which will soon return for a second season. Also for Netflix, he appeared in Tidelands and Alta Mar (High Seas). Next up, Marco will appear in the Gen V for Amazon, the spin-off series of the smash hit series, The Boys. He also just wrapped filming the leading role of Marco Calvani's feature film Best Place playing opposite Marisa Tomei and Bill Irwin. 
In Brazil, he starred on twelve series for Rede Globo and two feature films, including 492: A Man called Death, for which he received a Best Actor nomination at Rio Film Festival. His most recent TV work was in the series Onde Nascem Os Fortes. Other series include A Força do Querer, by author Glória Perez, one of the greatest successes in the Brazilian TV of the last decade. Throughout the years he worked for Globo, he starred on Caras e Bocas, Ti Ti Ti, Fina Estampa, Gabriela, Sangue Bom, followed by Boogie Oogie, and A Regra do Jogo, which was nominated for an International Emmy Award.

The new season brings back members of the previous cast, such as the characters Eric, by Marco Pigossi, and Cuca, by Alessandra Negrini. There are also novelties like Mule Sem Cabeça (Simone Spoladore) and Matinta Pereira (Leticia Spiller). The series also focused on increasing indigenous representation, including director Graciela Guarani and actress Zahy Tentehar. In addition to Graciela, the series by creator and executive producer Carlos Saldanha has Cassiano Prado and Luciana Baptista in the direction, and Luis Carone in general direction.
As the synopsis highlights, the season follows Eric (Marco Pigossi) in a natural sanctuary protected by indigenous people and sought after by miners, near Belém. He discovers that his daughter, Luna (Manu Dieguez), and Cuca (Alessandra Negrini) were living in the region to bring him back to life. Despite wanting to return to Rio de Janeiro with Luna, Eric realizes that she has a mission to fulfill there. But in trying to protect her, he becomes a threat to the balance between nature and entities.
At the end of the first season, it is discovered that Luna, possessed by Corpo Seco, is behind the deaths of Gabriela (Julia Konrad), Saci (Wesley Guimarães) and Boto (Victor Sparapane). So, the father sacrifices himself for the daughter and offers his soul to the entity. Afterwards, in a confrontation with Iberê (Fábio Lago), the Curupira, he makes a new sacrifice, allowing himself to be killed in order to kill Corpo Seco.
