What Does Green Matchbook Mean? Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 3 "4-5-1" Explain

What does green matchbook mean? Here's an explanation of the green matchbook that appears in Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 3 "4-5-1".
On March 29th, Ted Lasso officially airs its third episode of Season 3. In this episode, we see the appearance of a green matchbook which is said to be "significantly important" to Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham)'s life. So, what is the actual purpose of this whole thing, and how could it affect Rebecca's future?

#1. Where Does The Green Matchbook Appear In Ted Lasso?

In Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 3 "4-5-1", Rebecca visits a psychic named Tish Deborah to get a prediction about her future, even though she feels quite skeptical about it.
During the reading, the psychic starts revealing some hints about Rebecca's future. In her visions, she sees a green matchbook, a "shite in nining armor", some lightning and thunder, and a scene of Rebecca in which she is absolutely drenched and being held upside down.
It's understandable Rebecca couldn't understand any of these. She feels like the psychic is just messing with her by spilling nonsense. Rebecca comes to a conclusion that this whole prediction thing is just wasting her time. However, when she is about to leave, the psychic mentions another shocking prophecy. "You will have a family. You’re going to be a mother", she says.

This makes Rebecca becomes extremely upset. She storms out of the session, now even more convinced that the psychic's prediction was totally ridiculous.
But things don't turn out the way Rebecca expects. Later that night, Rebecca attends the soft-opening party of Sam Obisanya (Toheeb Jimoh)'s restaurant. When the party is about to end, Sam starts handing gifts to each of the guests. And the gift turns out to be a green matchbook, which absolutely shocks Rebecca. It is too much of a coincidence.

#2. What Will Happen To Rebecca?

We all know that Rebecca has always dreamed of becoming a mother. During her previous marriage with Rupert (Anthony Head), Rupert had stated many times that he didn't want a child, so she couldn't do it yet.
After Rupert, Rebecca managed to find a new love, but it also didn't last too long. In Season 2, she ended her relationship with Sam after her father died. She told him that seeing them being together makes her feel insecure, because she might fall for him and eventually get hurted. Rebecca's marriage with Rupert wounded her in many ways, and she wasn't ready to commit to a relationship. She needed to heal herself first before she can truly love someone else.
Sam understood her decision. He insisted that he would always wait for her to return. Therefore, it is totally possible that the green matchbook refers to Sam, and we would see Sam and Rebecca get back together. However, since the green matchbooks were distributed as gifts for every guest at the restaurant, there might be a chance that instead of Sam, Rebecca's future man is actually an another person who also received the green matchbook.

During the interview with TV Line, actor Toheeb Jimoh shared some of his thoughts about Sam and Rebecca's future.
"Hmm… I’m not sure. I think I’ll leave that up to audiences to decide. All I will say is, the most important thing about the two of them is that they care about each other. That is the core of their relationship, and they will never not have what they had in Season 2. That romance will always be a part of them. It’s their shared experience, you know? They can never go back from that. But for the most part, they just care about each other and they want each other to be happy, and that’s the most important thing, so we will see”, he said.
