In light of this information, the High Magistrate contacts Gorian Shard and issues a warning to him, informing him that he must either immediately stop the attack or flee the system to avoid incurring the wrath of the New Republic. The Gorian Shard continues its onslaught despite this warning. Greef Karga's plea for assistance from the smugglers is sent to Captain Carson Teva, who is serving in an outpost of the New Republic in a different region of the galaxy.
When Zeb Orrelios, an original member of the Ghost crew from Star Wars Rebels, makes his way to Coruscant to ask for authorization to deploy troops to Nevarro, he sends his best wishes to Teva. In the meanwhile, Officer G68 provides her account of what transpired. Teva goes without requesting or obtaining the help she requires before leaving.  Karga, upon arriving back to Nevarro, guides his people to safety in the desert, away from Shard's pirates, while assuring them that the New Republic will assist them in any way it can.
As this is going on, Teva is searching for Din Djarin in the hopes of recruiting him to assist in the fight against Shard's pirates. Teva lands and walks up to the Mandalorian stronghold, where she observes Bo-Katan Kryze's spacecraft parked in front of the building. After delivering Karga's message, Teva tells Din and the other Mandalorians that R5-D4 gave her the information to discover their whereabouts.

When it comes to deciding whether or not to assist the High Magistrate of Nevarro, Teva defers to Din's judgment. To save Navarro from being overrun by pirates led by Gorian Shard, the Mandalorian warriors boarded the Bo-Gauntlet-class Katan's ship and Din's N-1 Starfighter and headed in that direction. When they learned pirates had taken control of the city, they launched an assault. Din piloted his fighter to lead the assault and distract Shard's Corsair from the battle.
Bo-Katan immediately dispatches the first unit of Mandalorians to the city as soon as the weather improves so that they can eliminate all of the pirates that are currently present. Din immediately begins an assault on Corsair's snub fighters when they begin to pursue her. Paz Vizla has arrived to assist the pirates in combat with the Mandalorians. As the Armorer joins the battle, he rapidly eliminates a gang of pirates utilizing a large cannon to damage their foes.
