Grace Van Dien, Stranger Things Star Reveals She Was Harassed By A Film Producer With Threesome Proposal

Grace Van Dien of Stranger Things has confessed that she has given up acting after a director approached her about a threesome. In order to be "in control," the 27-year-old actress who portrayed Chrissy Cunningham in the Netflix series has switched to Twitch streaming. She said that as a result of the experience, when the unidentified man urged her to share a bed with him and his girlfriend in "one of the last movies" she appeared in, she rejected the proposal.

In an internet video this week Grace revealed: "He hired a girl that he was sleeping with, and then he had her ask me to have a threesome with them. So, that's my boss. And I didn't [do it], and I cried and I was so upset. But when people are like, 'How is streaming better for your mental health? That's how. I get to stay inside my home and play video games, and I don't have my boss asking me to have sex with him. That's how this is better for my mental health."

Grace claimed that she believed she had handled the situation appropriately by informing her managers. She said that a second co-star was there when the incident occurred: "My cast mate, she was there with me and was like, 'Did I just hear that correctly?' And I was like, 'Yeah.' And she was like, 'You want to go take a walk?' I was like, 'Yeah.' And we just had a miserable time. We cried a lot on that shoot. That's why I'm going to stick to streaming for a little bit, and I hope that's not a huge wrench in your plans for me, but I'm happy here."

On the streaming platform that specializes in live video gameplayProposal, Grace already has 293,000 subscribers. Although the circumstances surrounding the alleged wrongdoing are unknown, her most recent four movies, according to IMDB, include the comedy Aaah! Roach! and Silver Star as well as the horror picture Alaska.
