However, the supermodel has not always been free of self-consciousness regarding her image. In fact, Hadid has been candid about her childhood beauty insecurities and how she overcomes them.
In a candid interview a few years ago, Hadid revealed that she experienced more aesthetic insecurities as a child than other people. She mentioned that she was always conscious of her brows but had no idea there was anything she could do about it. But her brows weren't Hadid's sole source of insecurity as she grew up. Hadid admitted that she tries to start her day with positive affirmations but that she frequently finds it difficult to believe them when her mind is racing with worry. She often tells herself to be happy and appreciative of what the universe has provided her as one of her go-to mantras.
Hadid has once again made a point about the value of raising awareness about mental health issues and seeking treatment by being open about her own difficulties with anxiety.
