Cat Mother Pleads Rescuer To Let Her Out Because She Knows Something That The Rescuer Has Missed
Mothers of all kinds of animals may have their own ways of looking after their babies, but there's something universal about the love they feel. A while ago, a mother cat and her two babies were luckily rescued by a good Samaritan. However, it was weird when the mother cat tried to get out of the rescuer’s hand at that time. But once she got out, the rescuer knew what she had missed.
A few weeks back, according to the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association, a woman in Port Coquitlam spotted a mother cat and her two kittens coming out of a carport.
However, what happened next took the rescuer by surprise. Even after being brought inside by the good Samaritan, the mother cat couldn't seem to relax. And it turned out that she knew something that nobody else did. So the distressed mother cat earnestly pleaded with her rescuer to allow her back outside.
At first, the rescuer was confused about what the cat was trying to do. Driven by the cat's persistence, the rescuer had no option but to permit her to leave. Once outside, the mother cat immediately dashed back to the carport, where they had been initially discovered, and what happened next was nothing short of astonishing. The mother cat repeatedly entered and exited the area, each time carrying a tiny kitten in her mouth. This continued until all five of her remaining kittens were accounted for.
"The kind Samaritan took the little family inside but the mama begged to be let back out. Once outside she went back to the carport and one by one brought out five more kittens!"
Following the successful rescue of all the cat’s offspring, the rescuer reached out to the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA), who willingly stepped in to support.
Despite his difficulties, the kitten showed remarkable strength and was just as happy as his siblings. He was called "Long John Silver" after a pirate-like moniker.
"He's got the most amazing silver fur so he's been lovingly dubbed Long John Silver!"
